Thermal lamination is a process of bonding a thin layer of plastic film onto a printed substrate using heat and pressure. It is commonly used in the packaging industry to create a protective layer on a variety of materials such as paper, cardboard, and non-woven substrates. Thermal lamination is commonly used in the production of battery/electronic parts packaging, personal care packaging, and medical device packaging.
Heat seal coating/primer is a type of coating that is applied to a substrate to facilitate heat sealing. Heat seal coating/primer is typically applied to materials such as plastics, paper, and foil, it is designed to create a strong bond between the two layers of material during the heat sealing process.
Both ALTRIX WPE-09838 and WPE-16223A are water based modified polyethylene copolymers that provide outstanding adhesion and enhance water, oil, and grease resistance properties. They perform excellently as a primer for paper, cardboard, non-woven, PET and OPP films and other polar surfaces.
